[QUIZ] Should Your Skincare Routine Be Restorative or Preventative?

30 Sep 2024

Take this quiz to find out the best skincare for your age and skin health.

Finding the perfect skincare routine can be a game-changer, but knowing which products to include can be challenging. "Creating the right routine helps you achieve your skincare goals faster and with fewer products," explains Jacob Tomás del Rosario, Director of Field Sales and Education at Youth To The People. "The key is to determine whether your goals fall into the restorative or preventative category."

In Youth To The People's terms, a restorative regimen targets the skincare needs of millennials and Gen Xers who are starting to notice the first signs of aging, such as loss of firmness and fine lines. The preventative category, on the other hand, focuses on the skincare needs of Gen Z, who may not have wrinkles yet but want to maintain their youthful glow. Regardless of age, skin needs can vary from person to person and day to day.

Still unsure whether you need a preventative or restorative routine? Take our quiz to find out which approach is best for your skin.

Or maybe this is your first foray into skincare, and you could use some guidance on where to begin. Whatever the case, now’s the time to establish a simple yet effective routine that will set your skin up for success in the future.

You’re the Restorative Type

Adding products that boost cell turnover and encourage collagen production will help you maintain your glow year after year.
