THE INSPIRATION BEHIND YTTP
Some of you have been around from the beginning (thank you X a million), but for those of you who don’t know: Our founders Joe and Greg started this brand with a unique source of inspiration. Their grandmother, Eva, was a visionary esthetician who championed pro-grade formulas and a holistic approach to skincare. Inspired by her protocols and knowledge, they launched Youth to the People in 2015 and combined Eva’s skincare wisdom with their unique interests and values, which were influenced by their California upbringing: superfoods, wellness, diversity, creativity, and inclusivity.The result was (and is) a brand that’s committed to radical transparency and efficacy—and doing right by you and the planet.
OUR PHILOSOPHY, BOTTLED
In fact, the ethos of Youth to the People is embodied within the product we launched first —and our #1 best seller to this day—Superfood Cleanser. Sure, it’s a cleanser. But it’s also so much more. This formula was our first attempt to show beauty lovers what skincare could be: plant-powered, pro-grade, scientifically proven to be effective, and a ritual that leaves you feeling refreshed, energized, and, well, healthier.
And it resonated. We’re constantly humbled by the fact that we sell one Superfood Cleanser every minute.
