Rated 5 out of 5 by Anonymous from Best kit for oily skin! I’ve struggled with very oily skin, large pores and breakouts now and then. I bought this kit over a moth ago and It’s been seriously so worth it! My skin feels so smooth and it looks so clear and bright! Even make up looks better now and stays longer on my face. Definitely such a good investment in for my skin!

Rated 3 out of 5 by dani from Is this really for oily skin? At age 38, YTTP is my fisrt foray into actual skin care products. Because I have oily skin, my typical skin care routine has only involved cleansing, a scrub once in a while, and a very light gel moisturizer only some days in the winter. But since I'm approaching 40, I figured it was a good time to start taking better care of it. So I began my research and I found YTTP highly recommended online. A kit for my skin type sounded like a good place to start, so I went with it. And some of the products I really like. Like the moisturizer - it is silky, soaks in fast, and leaves smooth non-oily skin. The mask - I love how my skin feels both while it's on and after. It really feels like it makes my skin less oily while retaining moisture at the same time. And the serum - I love how it soaks in so well and you can't tell you're wearing it. Though I don't know if I see a difference that is worth the pricetag. But the cleanser? After all the reviews, hype, and videos about this stuff I was expecting a miracle cleanser. But it's just okay. Nothing terrible, but nothing special either. It does it's job, but I'm not sure if I will spend $36 on another bottle. The toner though? Ugh... I hate this stuff. I know it says it can be sticky, and it is. So I follow the directions and apply it at night right before the moisturizer, but I just don't like how it feels. It makes my face feel sticky before I apply the moisturizer, and then greasy after the moisturizer even though on it's own the moisturizer is great. But also, from the research I've done AHA exfoliators are better for dry skin so I'm not sure why this is in an oily skin kit. And to top it off, when following the exact directions for the routine they suggest with this kit, my skin breaks out terribly. It makes me really wonder why it's marketed for oily skin. I have oily skin but I don't typically break out very often, and this kit has caused zit after zit when following the suggested routine. So I have had to make adjustments to how I use it. Mainly removing the use of the toner period and only using the moisturizer once a day has helped some. But I definitely think I'm going to need to incorporate some BHA into my routine to help. I have no idea why this is marketed to people with oily skin. Some of the products on their own are great, but combined into a kit for oil skin it makes no sense.
