Palo Studios Founder Cassie Ebner Takes the Youth Questionnaire

Palo Studios is a multi-division studio, a place for expression through digital media, brand cultivation, and message-forward apparel.

By Alyssa Shapiro, she/her

In my pursuit of creativity, I unearthed my project, Palo Studios,” says Cassie Ebner, its founder. Palo Studio is, according to Ebner, “a multi-division studio… a container where I would be free to express myself through all facets of digital media (and now physical experiences).” Through Palo Studios, Ebner cultivates imagery and messaging for the brands she works with to share globally, and balances that with her own in-house apparel brand (also called Palo Studios). It’s “an art project and exploration in connection, design, and my first love: fashion,” says Ebner.

Question 01: How do you help others?

Within my business, I feel I’m able to help others express themselves creatively and share their projects with the world. In my personal life, I am obsessed with self-help and self-care. Any information I come across, I am the ultimate student, absorbing it from start to finish. My strength in learning is that I am never stuck within one modality, I’m always evolving and growing, expanding my toolbox. I’ve found that many people feel they can come to me without judgment and I easily am able to share my toolbox with them, so they now have the tools to handle whatever block they’ve come across.

Question 03: Where are you most free?

I’m most free in many places. For one, in a like-minded community where I can speak freely about my connection to source and how my life and business are led by a deep spiritual pursuit. I feel free in nature where I can be completely in the present time, away from the thoughts and chaos of daily life. I am also totally free when I arrive at my mat for my daily meditation, taking off every layer, energy, or mask I’ve taken on throughout the day, and returning to myself.

Question 05: What do you dream of?

I dream of the day I can create a 3-D space for my partner and me and our future family. I’ve been lucky enough to play in this space of creation with my studio, but I feel a deep calling to cultivate a creative project of stone, wood, and other natural materials to build a home that is an artistic expression of self, but also my oasis to ground further into my self, my connection with my partner, and one day start our family.

Question 10: Describe your relationship with your ego.

My ego and I have a playful relationship. My ego loves to tell me what I want, what to do, and every possible negative outcome of each scenario. I like to laugh and gently guide my ego back to its dark corner and return back to the light where I can sit and let clarity be downloaded into myself, revealing my soul's purpose. My pings and intuition grow stronger each day, and I’ve come to terms with my ego being just a passing thought, and not rooted at all in reality. My ego is extremely concerned with matter—being a physical being. My soul is extremely concerned with entering the quantum energy field and being fully energy. It’s a fun duality to exist within.

Question 13: What is your most useful affirmation?

I expand in abundance, success, and love every day as my most authentic self—and I inspire others to do so as well.

Question 18: Which is richer: your inner life or outer? Why?

I believe both are. My outside world is a physical manifestation of my inner self. What I am projecting from myself is what I experience as reality. At my current stage in life, I have a deep knowingness that my soul’s journey has had moments of scarcity and in this lifetime wants to have it all. I have no shame in my pursuit of things—once I have them, my soul feels soothed and can transcend that feeling of need, and the things become less important. The more resources I have, the more I can help others. Some days I sit in silence on my meditation pillow, some days I dream of my humble garden where I nourish my body with produce I’ve created from seeds, and other days I make mood boards about having an orange Lambo truck and a designer bag archive. To each their own!
