From “Radical Acceptance” to “Less Ego” to “Free to Dream” and everything in between, each piece of Youth To The People apparel lets us wear our heart (or our values) on our sleeve. Like every capsule, the Power Capsule is thoughtfully and intentionally created in California.
As Keshia Liverpool, Assistant Manager, Marketing, Apparel + Styling, and Laura Moffitt, Senior Designer, Packaging + Soft Goods, put it, the Power Capsule represents a continuous elevation for YTTP’s apparel team—but they’re looking forward to the growth that is still to come.
“The Power Capsule is really an evolution of the Community Capsule that we released last spring,” says Moffit. “There’s a lot of elements that tie really closely and they were developed very much as a part-one, part-two set. This one is a great transition from summer to fall. It’s very focused on growth, community, and teamwork.”
Each piece of the collection displays reminders of the power in community, people, empathy, inner youth, and radical acceptance, themes that are all central to what we do at Youth To The People.
“The Power Capsule feels like closing a chapter for us. Our next capsule is going to be completely fresh and completely different from anything that we’ve done in the past. It feels more mature, really inspired by us as a group, a little more elevated—and there’s power within that,” Liverpool says. Right now, we’re literally stepping into our power.”
