Celebrating Black History Month with Black Image Center

21 Feb 2024
At Youth To The People, we believe in the power of community, creativity, and collective action. As we honor Black History Month, we're excited to announce our partnership with Black Image Center, an organization committed to uplifting LA's vibrant Black storytelling community.

Why Black Image Center? It's simple: they embody everything we stand for. Through their dedication to amplifying Black voices, preserving cultural heritage, and providing pathways to the creative industry, they're making a real difference in the lives of Black creatives and storytellers.

Our decision to partner with Black Image Center is rooted in our shared values of inclusivity, empowerment, and equity. Together, we're investing in Black equity and connecting with our community in a meaningful way.

As we reflect on the words of Harriet Tubman, "Every great dream begins with a dreamer," we're reminded of the importance of dreaming boldly and creating change. Through our partnership with Black Image Center, we're not just celebrating Black history—we're aiming to actively shape the future.

Join us this Black History Month as we collaborate, learn, and uplift one another. Together, we have the strength, the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars and change the world. It all starts with a dream. Let's dream big, together.
